Make a Keyring for Big School

Your reception starter children need a keyring they can recognise on their book bag. So bring them along to my Crafty Class to make a keyring for Big School so they can make one to be proud of!

I will be running a day of crafty classes for new starters in reception of local primary schools.  Each school will have separate sessions, so it’s a great way to meet other new starters and make new friends.

How do I book?

When a venue and date are confirmed, you will be able to book online. If you’d like to know about my Make a Keyring for Big School first, sign up to my mailing list.

Do we stay with our children?

Absolutely. I appreciate these children are more often than not very nervous. Starting Big School is a big deal. So, you are encouraged to stay with your child. I have allowed for one adult to stay per child.

Can I bring siblings?

Siblings that are both starting Big School? Absolutely. Simply book a space for each child.

It’d be better for younger siblings to stay with another adult at home, or for you to drop your new starter with me for the session.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

I have worked hard to keep the cost of this class as low as possible for everyone. So unfortunately, I am unable to offer sibling discounts.

Is there parking?

Yes, The Woodside do have a car park with plenty of space.

Where are the sessions held?

The sessions will be held at The Woodside, Bolnore Village

I can’t find my school on your list?

Don’t Panic. I have included the main schools in Haywards Heath and the surrounding area. If your school isn’t listed, let me know. If there are enough of you from your school, I can set up a session just for you, at a time that suits you all. If not, I can include you on another session that has space.

We can’t make that weekend. Will you be holding other sessions?

At the moment, I have only planned to offer these sessions on the dates stated. However, I am happy to consider other times. Let me know what works for you, and I will see what I can set up. If there is a group of you interested in a separate class, get in touch and I can set something up for you.There are a group of us that would like to make some keyrings.

Can we book a different time with you?

Yes, of course I can run a session for you. Get in touch and we’ll get something booked in.

I love the idea of making their keyring, but I don’t really want to come to a class. Can I buy a kit instead?

Yes, of course. Send me a message with your child’s name and favourite colour. I will do the rest.

The idea of coming to a class is to meet others starting school with you. It’s very much a “come and make friends” opportunity more than it is to simply create a personalised keyring. If you have any questions, please get in touch and I will do my best to help.
