What glorious weather we have for this one this weekend. Give these bubble wands a go. They are super easy for little hands to get stuck into, and they are lots of fun to play with when the crafting in done!
You will need:
- 2 pipe cleaners
- pony beads
- a cookie cutter
- bubble mixture
Start by wrapping your pipe cleaner around your cookie cutter. Bend it into the corners so that it keeps its shape when you take it off the cutter.
Finish the ends by wrapping them into the shape.
Fold a second pipe cleaner in half and hook it over your shape. Pinch it so that it sits tightly against the shape.
Add beads to strengthen the handle. Thread both ends of the pipe cleaner through the beads and slide them right up to your shape. Continue threading until you have enough beads for your handle. Fold the end of the pipe cleaner over to secure the beads in place.
Now find some bubble mixture and head outside with your bubble wands to make some bubbles!
