Saturday Crafty Clubs

Crafting is a great way to boost your child’s confidence and creativity as well as learn new skills. Inspiring a love for crafting and creativity is my passion and my mission. We will have so much fun at these sessions.

We will be giving loads of new crafts a go from beading and sewing to painting and sculpting, and pretty much anything and everything in between.

Everyone will take home what they make. All materials and equipment will be supplied. All you need to bring is a little enthusiasm. I will provide the rest.

The age ranges stated are a guide. If your child falls in between age groups I would be inclined to go for the older age group. But if you’re not sure which one to book, get in touch. We can chat through the options. Space permitting, I can always transfer them if they find the sessions are too easy or too hard.

Crafty Club sessions will be held at The Woodside, Bolnore Village.

Sessions are £10 each and bookable by the half term. Trial sessions are also available.

If the class you would like is full, it is always worth joining the waiting list. I may be able to add additional classes for those on my waiting lists.

Book online for the full half term, or for a trial session via my ClassforKids page.

Crafty Club for 4-7 year olds (approximately Y R, 1 & 2)
9.00 til 10.00

For younger crafters, we will be setting the foundation for crafting skills. We will be improving fine motor skills and building confidence by exploring various craft materials and equipment. We will develop a passion for creating. Your little crafters will have something they have created to bring home each week.

Crafty Club for 7-9 year olds (approximately Y 3 & 4)
10.15 til 11.15

During these sessions we will be introducing more complicated techniques, materials and equipment, whilst continuing to build confidence and ability.

Crafty Club for 9+ year olds (approximately Y5+)
11.30 til 12.45

Improving precision and introducing more technical skills and equipment. These sessions are a little longer than those for younger crafters. Crafts may include longer projects which span a number of weeks as we build on skills and create more complex items.

Knitting and Crochet Club (from age 8+) 13.00 til 13.45

The children will each receive a knitting and crochet pack during their first class. It will contain all the equipment they need to get knitting and hooking, and is theirs to keep.

Yarn will be supplied each week to use during the session and take home to continue their projects during the week. I will teach them the skills they need, and provide patterns and guidance. What they make is up to them!
