Saturday Crafty Club

Craft Classes for 4-14 year olds in Haywards Heath

Boost their imagination, creativity and confidence!

We have a go at so many different things in Crafty Club each week. New techniques, new equipment, new ideas. We think sideways and sometimes upside down! We learn new skills and have loads of fun.

Every week your child will come home with another fabulous creation that can be displayed or used. No wacky cardboard creations here!

All materials and equipment will be supplied. All you need to bring is a little enthusiasm. I will provide the rest.

But Crafty Club is about more than just crafting. It is a safe space for your children to explore their creativity without pressure or expectation. Yes, I set a craft for each week. But they are not limited with how far they can go with that craft. They can push it further if they want to. But if they’re not feeling it, there is no pressure. We can scale it back a bit.

My mission is to inspire your children to explore crafting and all its possibilities, whilst also exploring and challenging themselves. Recently, a child refused to use a glue gun. Turns out she had burnt herself on a hot melt glue gun. I’m not surprised! Hot melt glue hurts! But I use cool melt guns in my sessions. So she had a go. And was so very proud of herself for conquering that hurdle. That might only be a little boost to her confidence. But little boosts make all the difference.

Book your child’s trial session. Come and see if you like what we get up to.

Here are a few comments from parents…

My daughter loves this class on Saturdays – Alyson is so ingenious and creative with her ideas and Woodside is a lovely venue. Really good value for money too.

My child loves coming to Crafty Club. Other things have come and gone, but Crafty Club is always a favourite.

You come up with such amazing ideas for them every single week!

How do you get all that done in just an hour?!

Saturday Crafty Club FAQs

I can’t make some of the sessions. Do I have to pay for the whole half term?

The half termly fee secures your child’s place for that half term. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer refunds or discounts for missed classes. If Beading Brilliant needs to cancel a class, a full refund will be credited to your account.

Can I transfer between classes?

Yes, if there is space available and the class you are requesting is suitable. At the end of each half term, I will review the session allocations, and notify you of any transfers. Transfers are based on your child’s ability, age and group dynamics.

If you would like to transfer your child, please get in touch and we can discuss further.

Can I stay with my child?

Most parents and carers do not stay for these sessions. However, I appreciate that this will not work for all children. Please get in touch if you feel staying with your child would be beneficial.

Do you offer sibling discount?

I work hard to keep the cost of my crafty sessions as cost effective as possible for everyone. So unfortunately, I am unable to offer a sibling discount.

Are your sessions suitable for children with additional needs?

That largely depends on the need. Get in touch and we can chat about what would make the session work for your child. Crafting shouldn’t be exclusive, so if I can help you, I will.
