Let’s get making…

Cut your ribbon into about 25cm lengths. These don’t have ti be super accurate. The length is just a guide, so don’t worry too much if its a bit shorter.

Tie your ribbon around your stick using a single knot. Single knots will sit flatter than using a double knot. If youre worried about the knot coming undone, add a little pva glue to the knot to secure it. Make sure the ribbons are snuggly up against each other.

Lay your stick and ribbons flat on a surface. Arrange the ribbons so you are happy with how they are laying. Trim your ribbons into a Christmas tree shape.

Add a star bead or button to the top if you wish. If you don’t have a bead or a button, you could make a star from a pipe cleaner, or a sheet of yellow card, or felt.
