These are super quick and easy, and so versatile. You can customise them to match your decorations, or add them to a length of ribbon or jute twine to create a garland.
You will need:
2 sheets of plain paper. You can use A4 or A5 paper here.
A large bead
a short length of ribbon or jute string
Let’s get making…

Fold you paper in half lengthways.

Then in half again.

Fold each section in half again. You should have 8 sections. Fold your paper back and forth to create a concertina effect.

Repeat the folding steps with the other sheet.
Fold your concertinaed paper over about 1 third of the way up. These will create the angels wings.

Cut a length of ribbon or jute twine. Fold in half and tie a few knots. The twine should be long enough to securely sandwich between your paper

Thread both ends through a large bead. Slide the bead up to the knot. This will stop the bead falling off later.
Sandwich the end of the cord between both concertinaed paper. Glue the paper together. You can use a glue stick here, or some school pva glue, but be careful not to add too much glue. Double sided tape will also work well.
Hang your angel decoration when dry.
Adding colour
You can add colour when your angel is complete using eater colour paints, or you can colour the paper in before you fold it if you’d rather. You could also use patterned paper to create beautiful angels.
