These felt baubles are easy to make. You can choose some felt that matches your decoration. Or let your kid choose their favourite colours. You could also use kids foam sheets if you struggle to find felt sheets you are happy with. Happy Crafting!
You will need…
- Felt sheets in your choice of colours. I used glittery felt sheets, but you can use festive print or plain felt. Choose a felt that is quite stiff, but not thick.
- Cool melt glue gun
- Sharp scissors
- String or cord for hanging
Let’s get making…
Cut 10 circles from your felt sheets. My circles are about 8cm across, but you can do any size you like.

Cut each of your circles in half.

Fold each half in half again and glue cut edge together.

Pair up your felt pieces. glue folded edge of each pair together. You can choose to mix your colours up here, or keep them matching. It’s up to you.

Glue the straight of edge of each pair to the next pair, bending it round to form a circle.

Add a piece of string or cord to the top.

Cut a strip and circle. glue these together to form the top of the bauble. make a hole in the top. thread through your string and glue in place.
